Pernah denger lagu OneRepublic yang judulnya "Something I Need" ?
Lagu ini dirilis tahun 2013. Pertama kali saya mendengarkannya, saya membayangkan bahwa lagu ini bercerita tentang seseorang yang sangat mencintai pasangannya. Lagu ini bercerita tentang seseorang yang tidak akan bisa hidup jika ditinggalkan oleh pasangannya. Seperti berpesan bahwa jagalah pasangan mu dengan sungguh-sungguh.
Tapi jujur setelah saya menonton video klipnya di you tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKCGBgOgp08 . Saya berfikir bahwa lagu ini berpesan bahwa jika kamu mencintai seseorang maka kejarlah
dia. Jangan biarkan dia pergi sebelum kamu berusaha mendapatkannya
dengan usaha yang sungguh-sungguh. Video dari lagu Something I Need ini seperti berpesan bahwa kamu tidak perlu takut untuk ditolak oleh wanita/pria yang kamu sukai. Paling tidak kamu harus berusaha, agar kelak kamu tidak menyesal. Yap, "cobalah selagi ada kesempatan". Begitulah pesan yang ingin disampaikan oleh video lagu ini. Setidaknya itu yang saya tangkap saat
mendengar dan melihat video lagu ini.
